We visited in January and so there wasn't much in bloom. There is a lot of interesting items about the plantation's hsitory that still made it a worthwhile visit.

We've been in many different Botanical Gardens around the world. Some real nice, some not so much. I was first little sceptical, when our drivers suggested this one, but now I'm real glad he did! About 5-6 miles from Frederiksted's Cruise Port, so you need a car/taxi. They open 9am and there are parking spaces outside. This surprisingly large place... More

Lovely and restful place to visit. If you don't have a vehicle, these gardens are on the bus line. Loved the variety of vegetation mingled with ruins. Nice little gift shop.

We always take guests to the garden. Interesting buildings, lots of history, nicely described in the map.

Beautiful botanical gardens amidst the ruins of an old sugar cane plantation. Both aspects of the visit were interesting and a great combination. It was a relaxing and enjoyable visit.

I have been there twice and still love it. Everything from the beautiful flowers to the ruins of the plantation gives you a lot to see and learn

Very nice botanical garden amidst a old sugar mill. Trails wander you throughout the gardens over bridges.

I made up my mind, that after driving by this place since 1969, I would visit. It was breath taking. Huge pots of flowers, succulent gardens and the most unusual trees. I now have appreciation of those grocery store yuccas and how they hang off the tree. The botanical garden has island history. This is not for those who have... More

We have been here a few times and really enjoy the gardens and set up of the site. But each time we have not been able to follow the map and always miss many of the areas that we might have wanted to see.
