The botanical gardens is located on an old Danish colonial sugar plantation. So it is possible for the visitor to gain an insight into the conditions of the colonial days as well as appreciating tropical botany. Great photo opportunities too!

Our family group enjoyed our stroll through the gardens. After our walk we found some unique souvenirs in the gift shop and sat for a while in the large lovely open air patio. We were glad we included this stop in our itinerary.

They had been hit by the hurricane, but everything was back in bloom. A great walking tour, with a nice shop full of local herbals and gifts.

Love the Botanical Garden. Calm walk through the park is a great change from touring too many beaches! Cool shade on a sunny day. The park has great history about the island and the native people.

Interesting gardens on an old sugar plantation. All the plants are well labeled for your self guided tour. Reasonable fee for an educational garden tour.

Within one hour you can take a stroll among exotic tropical plantings amid ruins of former plantation times. Rough brick serpentine walkways, small water features, a lily pond, and informative historical displays are just some of the things to experience. Really well maintained and well...More

this is a nice chill spot. Not as big as I imagine but it has its perks. I wish I could’ve seen the place before Maria hit the island. Great staff.
