There are a number of kayak companies that do might kayak tours of the bioluminescent bay at Salt River and I'm sure the others are OK, but we chose Bush Tribe Eco Adventures because of their more laid back approach and real commitment to a real eco tour, as opposed to a tourist attraction. We arrived at their site at... More

What a great night for the coolest thing ever. Awesome kayak trip for the bioluminescence trip. Chris and JD couldn’t have been more professional and super fun! They’re knowledge of this phenom is bar none! Something everyone should try to experience

Seeing first-hand a bio luminescent bay was on my bucket list, and Bush Tribe did not disappoint. Our trip leader JD was extremely knowledgeable, our group of 8 got an unexpected history and ecology lesson to go along with our boating. As an un-athletic person kayaking across the bay was physically arduous, but JD was patient and would wait when... More

Husband and I (late 50s) went on great 2 hour sunset trip with 2 other families. Equipment new and in great shape. Tandems. Water available. Guide was fun, calm, knowledgeable. Saw some of the shore and a rookery as we got used to the kayaks and waited for the sun to go down. Water was not choppy at all our... More

We did this tour with Chris and Sean. It was fantastic! They were very knowledgable about the history of St Croix and the Salt a River. Also very informative about the bay and wildlife in and out of the water. I highly recommend this trip with these guys. Do try to bring waterproof bug stuff as it can get a... More

We did the evening bio-luminescence tour with Travis as our guide. He did a great job (interesting narrative and a really nice guy) and it was a beautiful night despite a brief rain shower while we were out. The tiny luminescent put on a good show. It's hard to explain, but this was a very fun experience for our family... More

So much more than I expected! We were worried because the moon was a little brighter than they would have liked but it was perfect. Our guide Shaun did a great job of keeping us interested and entertained. It was a easy trip and we had a ton of fun!

My husband and I went to a hiking (Tide Pool) and a kayaking (night time) with them. We loved both trips and we would love to do it again on our next time in St Croix. The hiking was very nice and interesting. They taught us a lot about the culture and nature of St Croix. They had 4 guides... More

Our adventure started with painting out face with local berries and continued on into a night kayaking trip with amazing bioluminescent phytoplankton - it is an amazing experience, the guides were personable and funny, the sites are beautiful and unforgettable. The kayaking is light, the water is warm and we had a great time! We also got a great history... More
