Located on St. Croix's north shore, the waters are not always gentle along this palm-tree-lined beach, but scuba diving and snorkeling are very popular here where less than 200 yards out is the drop-off called Cane Bay Wall.

Beautiful stretch of smallish beach but more importantly, snorkeling available right off beach. There's a sign showing where the best access is but just look for the old pier and swim straight out from there. Tons of fish and barrel sponges to look at out there. Nice day. Grab lunch at Eat@Cane Bay when you are done. Such a chill,... More

Water has a sand bottom, not rocky at all. Beach is beautiful. Eat at Cane Bay right above beach, so plenty of opportunity for food and drink.

One of the best shore dive spots in St Croix. My wife and I were able to get out to the wall and stay at 100' for over 8 minutes and get back to shore with 500 psi of air. Even if you aren't a diver, the snorkeling is great and the beach is great as well. This is one... More

Dive here with my son while my wife and other son relaxed on the beach. Beautiful beach and fantastic dive. Rare to get both in one spot. Also has a few places to eat that you can walk to.

From 2 feet to the wall, the snorkeling was excellent. The dive shop was helpful with recommendations.

The day we went to this beach was not the best "water" day because the previous two days were quite stormy. It was also very windy. So the water here was not conducive to frolic in it or swim as there was an undertow. But I did see maybe 8 people go out and snorkel where it appeared there was... More

After reading the reviews I felt we should at least check out this beach. We were disappointed. It is very small and narrow. There are no public facilities. If you need a restroom you are out of luck unless you are a paying customer at the restaurant across the street. On the positive side, the water is beautiful and there... More

Cane Bay beach is beautiful. My wife and I have been here a couple of times and just love this beach. It's not crowded, The water clarity is perfect for snorkeling and surf diving. The reef going out to the wall had an amazing variety of life , with some of the largest and healthiest fan coral and elk horn... More

This beach is beautiful, and in an ideal spot even though the day I went was overcast and windy. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from and a dive shop right there that will get you set up with a shore dive if you are certified. The Wall at Cane Bay is supposed to be an excellent dive, but... More

The beach is heavily used as a public beach and it's not very deep. There are better locations in my opinion to see just a bit further down the road at the Renaissance.
