This is an ok local event to visit and is totally aimed at tourists. Vendors selling local food in essentially a parking lot - would compare to visiting food truck courts in the US. Not necessarily cheap - for two of us is was ~$70...More

This event is a weekly gathering for the island people and for us tourist. We had our three teenagers with us and they all enjoyed the music and chaos. There were long lines for the food and we picked the longest one, Kalooki's, to wait...More

Long lines for food, mostly expensive. Crowded and noisy. But good shopping and worth it for souvenirs.

Very overrated very crowded. Hard to get food or drink, a giant flea market. Got a cab to turtle bay to eat much better there.

A tacky, rubbish-strewn, over-crowded, unimaginatively laid out tourist trap selling food fried in oil best suited to recycling for motor fuel. Very restricted seating.

You can't miss this appointment in Provo with the belongers! Wonderful rum and drinks, delicious street-foot especially the chicken "jerk"! Live music and show!

Me and the kids went to the very popular Thrusday fish fry and we all got sick later. I am not sure if they clean the fish very well or if they clean the places where they gut the fish. Not recommended at all!

A little overhyped but not bad. It's VERY casual. I went in a day dress but I was way too dressed up. We tried the hole in the wall (conch fritters) and froggies (lobster mac and cheese). There are maybe 2 picnic tables total. Very...More

Nice getaway to mingle with the locals and listen to live music. We even saw LeToya Luckett mingling in the crowd. Being able to get different varieties of food from different vendors was neat. They also had tables set up for purchasing souvenirs.

Agree with the other answers...alternatively... ~30 min walk on the beach if you prefer and you could either walk back or take a cab. Cab fare ~$18 each way.
