The # 1 place to snorkel. We saw lots of turtles, an Emerald Ray, Barracuda and of course lots of the "pretty" fish. Lots of corals to see as well.

We did a half day snorkel cruise which was really nice, but wanted to do some shoreline snorkeling. We debated between Smith's Reef and The Bight. Some reviews seemed to indicate Smith's was better so we went there. Unfortunately, at a slow time of year,...More

This is a great place for beginning snorkeling! Easy to get too and plenty of parking at the Bight Children’s Park. Beautiful beach with gradually sloping beach even out into the water. The reef you want to view is to the left of the main...More

It was worth the visit. we got to see tons of fish as well as a few sea turtles. You can snorkel to the reef right off the beach. It is a worthy stop especially if you don't plan on taking a snorkel cruise.

This reef was just off the coast where we stayed and snorkeled several days. The fish were beautiful and a fairly short swim from shore.

We walked down to Bights Reef from the Alexandra Resort and frankly we didn't expect to see much given the close proximity to so many resorts and people, but I was pleasantly surprised by the number of fish (parrotfish, tangs, puffers) that we saw on...More

Free. You just have to bring your own gear. Most hotels on the beach supply it to you. There is a rental right in front but I don't know the costs.
