As others stated, this is the only conch (locals pronounce it as "conk") farm in the world. We had eaten a conch appetizer, and of course, I know what the shells look like, but I'd never actually "seen" a conch -- the animal inside the shell!! We started the tour out by sitting in a room with pictures on two... More

Wasn't a "beautiful place" to visit, but learned so much about the growth of the conch! Hands on area, which kids and adults enjoyed! photos are a must while learning about the different stages of the conch! so interesting! a must with the family.

This was our second visit to the farm to see what has been added or changed. The introduction to the raising of fish, and their plans for spherical nurseries was of interest. Not too much happening here at this time of year, but you can certainly learn a lot about conch and their life cycle. Thanks to Danver for leading... More

The tour guide was very informative in how they raise Conch. By raising them they are not depleting the ocean of all the conch fishing. A must see tour. Very clean facility, could improve on the bathrooms!

We were on a city Tour of Turks & Caicos & decided to visit the Conch farm, the only one in the world...It is an amazing place with a tour of the different stages of the conch from baby to adult. The end of the tour the guide takes you to two "trained" adult Conchs that literally come out of... More

We loved our tour of the conch farm. The tour lasted less than 45 minutes, and we learned about conch and the challenges in farming them. It was also a great place to buy a souvenir conch shell since the profits help sustain the conch population.

This was a very informative tour. The tour guide was great in describing the facilities, the life of a conch, and how the farm was being sustained with additional investment in fish breeding. Seeing Sally and Jerry, the oldest conchs was fun and the tour guide was amusing trying to coax them out of their shells! The facilities look like... More

Once I read that this was the only conch farm in the world, I made sure I went. Richard was so informative. He educated us on everything you need to know about conchs. I was able to pick up the smaller conchs and we also met Sally and Jerry. They are the social conchs on the farm. During a walk... More

Was nice to learn some history of the island and local industry. Knowledgeable tour guide, showed various elements of wildlife to us in the ocean and their tanks.
