I can’t say I was impressed with the Cultural Arts Center. I can say that I was thrilled to meet Cecilia Jennings. Having always appreciated the talent that goes into making sweetgrass baskets in the Lowcountry, But not being able to afford many, I was...More

This place is worth the trip for handmade baskets by Cecelia Jennings. It is so nice to buy directly from the Craftsman. You don't need to make the trip to the Middle Caicos. Also, the prices are unreal (good unreal).

This is a good place to buy inexpensive souvenirs; some handcrafted. Great way to help local vendors in Turks & Caicos.

Most stall have the same items and very few of them appear to be made in TCI. I'm not sure how cultural it is to sell items made in China.

Local vendors trying to sell their goods. Just a small place to get souvenirs. They are very pushy showing you what they have and if you like it.

Wanted to like this, but just stall after stall of inferior gaudy products, none of which seem unique even though branded Turks & Caicos. Someone needs to take a lead role & help these merchants develop unique boutiques. It seems to be a tourist trap...More

My sons wanted a little trinket from the island to bring home. There is very little shopping in Provo and they wanted something handmade from the island (little shark-tooth necklace and container for sea shells). We ended up finding the Cultural Center by the Veranda...More

Nice selection, prices same as any gift store on island. Willing to barter on price, that is the only reason I would return.
