Located in the hills of St. James, this historical site was established in the early 1800's to protect the borders. This site is well maintained and one can sign the guest book in the great house. There is also a telescope located on the fort if you want to zoom in on the city. If you want to have a... More

Fort George is a little known gem in Trinidad. The place is clean is manned by security and there are no vendors harassing you. The view is fantastic - you can see the entire Queen's Park Savannah as well as the sea coast. I also saw a savannah hawk circling the fort. The fort's infrastructure is well preserved from the... Heard For George provided great views of Trinidad. The drive up is harrowing at times and you get to the top the views do not disappoint. We spent about an hour hear just taking in the views. A couple of stray dogs kept us company. A lite rain came while we were there. The canons were never fired, I was... More

Do not miss this place if you are visiting T&T. It's a bit of a small hike up but the effort is totally worth it. A few historic buildings and a view that will leave you breathless. A must visit when in POS.

Breathtakingly!!!! I have been visiting here for over 30 years and it ALWAYS refreshes, relaxes and re-invigorates. Whether overcast and rainy or clear and brilliantly sunny, you will have your breath taken away.

It good for an during the day strolled, with how big the area is there should be more security there. But you can see the whole of POS from there.

great for an hour visit. I love these old colonial locations. The view up there is breath taking! The road to reach there is quite steep so make sure your car tires are good especially in the rain!

Visited Fort King George for the historical value. The drive up was nerve eventful-lots of curves and a steep climb. The views of the city was awesome.
