We stopped by the beach here as part of a birding trip along the Caribbean coast. If you are a birder, worth stopping here as well, many brown pelicans, frigate birds, brown footed boobies, swifts to be seen.

So nice location, but locals and probably some tourists not interested in keeping place rubbish free, eg enter village from either end North/South first thing you see pile of junk fridges scrap metal bags of bottles etc etc same in the car park and south...More

We came on a day trip, loved the atmosphere so came back and stayed a bit longer, Friendly people, quiet, wonderful beach, great views, our new favourite place
