We were staying in Castara so the road here was quite an adventure in itself but well worth it. I think I could spend the whole day just sitting on the porch watching the birds feed. Such and incredible amount of diversity, the gardens are...More

We spent am amazing 2 hours observing the many tropical birds and hummingbirds here. Awesome photo opportunities. Ean, the owner, refills all the nectar and bird feeders, puts out fresh cut up fruit then fills the bird baths with water. He rings a bell and...More

A great place to see some wild birds of Tobago - including many species of hummingbirds. Visitors can enjoy the birds visiting the feeders and fresh fruit placed close to the veranda. There are also a few short walks through the grounds, where in addition...More

We could have spent many hours sitting, sipping the juice, watching the hummingbirds, and wandering the gardens. Unfortunately we were on a tour and had to move on before we were ready. Wonderful, inexpensive place!

We spent almost 4 hours watching hummingbirds buzzing around the feeders and our heads...it is simply incredible. See it and believe it.

Sitting, sipping the home made mango smoothies whilst dozens of hummingbird species buzzed around us. Mot Mots, woodpeckers and tanagers pitched up and late, the bats replaced them. The walk through the garden completes the Zen experience. Time and money very well spent.

You could look online for the owners contact details, he could advice you the best way is to get there. Maybe take some lunch, sit back and soak up the atmosphere.
