Something adventurous and mesmerizing for sure! We had a great time visiting the Gasparee Caves. It was beautiful. The water was crystal clear when the sunlight shone through. My only regret is that the government hasn't put much money into it so the information building wasn't anything special. I'd like to see them take more advantage of this really cool... More

We took boat from chaguaramas to the island for a fee of $40 Trinidad dollars per person that's $80return plus an entrance fee to the island of $20 per person. There is also secured parking available for $30 a day. After boarding we took about 8 minutes to reach the island. The ride was awesome, smooth sailing and the island itself... More

Pack light refreshments. There's a little hike to reach to the caves. The tour guides were funny and informative about the trees and other stuff on the trail and also inside the cave. They warn you about bats but they weren't a bother. It was interesting to learn about the limestone and to see the beauty of the cave. Not... More

One of the best limestone caves in the Caribbean. I carried a class there for a filed trip. The Chaguaramas Development Authority manages the site and are extremely efficient. Very safe and educating. Make the effort to visit the artillery units from WWI, it is a bit of a climb to see them at the highest elevation of the island.

The caves are absolutely amazing, great experience!!! The limestone ceiling and walls are full of craters and long shards from the ceiling of the cave that resembles icicles, looks like a scene from those movies. There are steps going all the way down to a nice refreshing pool at the bottom a really great experience

I visited in May 2015, and I think the only downside was that the day I want it was a big trip day, with lots of people, so we had to take turns going into the caves. We were also the last group to get into the caves (with that overall trek), so the wait was long, and there was... More

I lived in Trinidad for most of my life and since the age of 7 our family would take a annual two week trip to gasparee island every summer. I have visited the caves many times, with and without a tour guide(I know the trail like the back of the hands lol) and it has always been a wonderful experience.... More
