We stayed 2 nights at Limeland house appt enjoying the caiman in the pond and the various animal waifs and strays plus peace and quiet. Kayman took us on a brilliant 7 hour adventure which started at sunrise on the beach and looking for manatees in the river. We then canoed into the swamp which was very mysterious and so... More

The trip to Trinidad was during an interesting time, odd weather (according to locals) and more expensive than planned for. Find Limeland tours reset the tone of the trip, making everything more interesting, accessible and affordable. We were there on Sept. 3, which is my birthday, and thr tour guide assisted in making the day a memorable occasion, not to... More

Myself my husband and 5 year old had the best time with Kayman, a terrific and knowledgeable guide. We saw a howler monkey and a cayman which was my daughter's highlight. The trip involves a kayaking trip which was pretty exciting and meant we could really see the swamp properly in a peaceful way. We then had a educational and... More

Nariva swamp is a magical place. Not just for the monkeys and macaws, but for the many other reasons that will become clear on Kayman's must-do kayaking tour. If you love wildlife, want a taste of adventure, and would like a knowledgeable and extremely accommodating and personable guide to lead you confidently into this unique habitat, then this tour is... Kayman will take you on a gentle and relaxing kayak paddle suitable for any ability through the mangrove swap towards the bush-bush peninsular. Along the waterways numerous species of flora and fauna can be seen and heard but everyday is different so you have to keep looking. when you get to the land the trail is an old fire break,... More

As locals, this was the first time we experienced this side of the island. Was really an amazing experience getting to kayak down the swamp. We saw capuchin monkeys and many bird species. We also got the chance to try eating termites! Would recommend Kayman to anyone and everyone looking to explore the Nariva Swamp.

I looked here on trip advisor and saw so many great reviews that I decided to try this Limeland tour trip out, and am exceptionally glad that I did! I was looking up things to do in Trinidad and decided to give Kayman an email, hoping that he would be free the following day. I was lucky enough that he... More

I headed out for Trinidad precisely AFTER carnival to get some much needed down time and escape the ever disappointing weather at home (2 degrees Fahrenheit). With absolutely no surprise to myself, I was the only one to have signed up for the swamp tour and visit to Bush Bush peninsula that weekend. I was so happy Kayman decided to... More

The tour was amazing and Kayman is an unbelievable guide and host with expert knowledge of birds, flora and fauna. We spotted kingfishers, toucans, herrons, hawks, egrets and enjoyed a beautiful hike in Bush Bush, learning more about the flora and fauna. Kayman also gave us a mini-tour of the beautiful Kernaham Village and provided very delicious vegan refreshments for... More

This was the best guided trip we have made on our many visits to Trinidad over the last 20yrs. Kayman's knowledge of the ecosystems and fragile status of the swamp and Bushbush Island habitat make this an essential excursion when visiting the island. The daybreak start for a stealthy kayak into the mangroves then grass/sedge beds before reaching the island... More
