The tour was just average. We went through alot of the history of the brewery rather than actually seeing much of how it was manufactured. There was a very random butterfly exhibit and several staged bars with different themes. The lunch was decent, however we were hoping to sample different kinds of rum.

The Angostura facility and museum themselves are really quite impressive. We learnt quite a bit of history along the way. However, unfortunately, or tour started an hour late which meant we missed out in some key parts of the regular tour i.e the production line was on their lunch break etc. Our tour guide was not very apologetic and didn't... We went as a group of mixed ex pats and were very impressed with the tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions with confidence. All of the staff were extremely friendly and even the people working on the barrels outside encouraged us to join them for photographs despite their busy workload. This was a fascinating... More

You have to book ahead and luckily we (a group of 3) were able to join a tour. It's a very informative and enjoyable way to spend a morning. We got to see the barrel-making as well as other processes. Thoroughly recommended.

I try to visit a distillery wherever I travel; it's just my "thing"! Angostura did not disappoint! The tour guide was very informative and the butterfly room (and butterflies) were beautiful. The tour guide gives very informative information about the history of bitters and its founders. You get to go into the area where the bitters are made and the... More

Good tour of the House of Angostura where world famous Angostura bitters are produced, along with a variety of rums. In addition to the tour of the distillery, you also get to see their huge collection of butterfly specimens. The highlight though is the sampling. You can taste almost any of the rums and liquors they produce. Definitely worth the... More

Excellent factory tour with information on history and production of Bitters and rum, although because of the secret formula of Bitters not great depth on this subject but plenty of history. Mid tour, at the end of the historical information the tasting bar was open to sample all sorts of their rum products. Very nice Single Barrel (not for export... More

Angostura bitters is a product known the world over and this tour of the factory where this product as well as other products from the Angostura brand such as their rum is a truly great experience.
