Works access prevents you driving to the area, although you could walk around the headland, but major construction of a large resort pretty much precludes spending any time on the sand.

Banana Bay is the site of one of the islands lost resorts. The Banana Beach Hotel was destroyed by Hurricane Georges back in 1998.The remnants of the buildings are still there, lying in ruins. Goats and cows are now the resorts only full-time residents. The...More
