Visited this beautiful church while visiting on a cruise ship. The church is very nice and we were warmly welcomed by the parish priest. Definitely worth a visit for Sunday mass.

Pleasant, local experience in going to church. Historical building. Downtown Basseterre. Walked to the Cruise ship port afterwards.
We always enjoy visiting churches to say a prayer on each cruise stop. This was a very nice old church and we enjoyed our visit. Go through the cruise port to Independence Square and it is right on the edge of the park. Very comforting.
Enjoyed the impressive architecture. The inside was restored and an active church. It is open to the public and some tourists were praying when I visited.
