This beach had everything needed to be there for the day. The chairs and umbrellas cost to rent but it is free access to the beach. The chairs were $10, and umbrella was $10 each, so $30 dollars for a couple to go to the...More

Ok this is not the picture card perfect Caribbean beach with large wide white sand and hundreds of Coco trees, but it has so much charm. Large beach with patches of both white and black sand, very good snorkelling, great beach bar to cover all...More

I still remember the first time I came to this gem of a beach....there was no peninsular road so a family friend took us in their boat. It looked like a scene from a Bounty advert! Paradise!! Fast forward many years and much has changed....More

What was once a pristine secluded beach with white sand and clear water is now a collection of beach shacks and trash. Save time and stay at Frigate Bay.

This is a beautiful beach we went to the other week while cruising. It has a “natural pool” just in the back. Great for snorkeling. We asked the taxi to stop at Turkey Hill to take a few pics. (Which has a great view btw)....More

We had never been on a black sand beach before coming here, but the kids still enjoyed it. The sand was very soft. I would recommend water shoes due to sea urchins, but we didn't see any. The beach is very narrow, there isn't much...More

We enjoyed our short visit to this beach, as part of our Greg Safaris tour. There seemed to be a lot of families there so it is well suited for that. The beach is somewhat protected in the end near Carambola but their is a...More

Depends on how much driving you plan to do. We were on a cruise stop and only travelled from the port to South Friars and back by taxi. A car rental didn't make sense for us.

Approx 15-20 drive. Enjoying the scenery we didn't worry. After passing through the port security, walking into the main shopping square, we arranged our mini bus. Price depended upon how many in the mini bus. It didn't... More
