We had the place to ourselves on a beautiful day ahead of the recent hurricane that passed through south of Nevis. It was a first for us, from a history point, of understanding St. Kitts relationship with England and some of the mistreatment and such....More

We did a fantastic tour of St Kitts, and this place was definitely the highlight! The view from the top of the fortress was spectacular and it was so easy to imagine the battles of colonial times.

From Brimstone Hill, the view would allow people to see for miles! Great reason to build a fort here. We viewed the short film, exited through the gift shop and then walked up the hill. Great photo ops.

I would either take an excursion or get off the ship and at the end of the pier get a tour or taxi. The sit is far end of island and way up a hill, mountain, so give yourself enough time to get back to the ship. I would... More
