Tour of the Island Takes you To the Bluffs

You need to see the bluffs. Since Brac means bluffs hey you need to see them. The north east end of the island is the bluff. Go to the lighthouse for great overlooks of the bluffs.

We were in Brac when tropical storm Earl passed by, went up to the bluff and it was one of the most beautiful things I have ever see, huge waves breaking on the 150 cliff.

The Cayman Islands are flat except for the bluff. We drove to the "lighthouse " at the end of the bluff. The views are panoramic from the end of the bluff. If you are going solely to see the lighthouse, you will be disappointed; the lighthouse is a 15 foot metal tower with a light.

The bluff is a nice place to go to enjoy and beautiful sunset over the ocean. The terrain is a bit rough so I would wear sturdy shoes.

The view from the light house is close to perfection. Just stand there and feel the wind and look at the view and know there is a God.

Wear gripping shoes and take water! Too bad there is trash all over. Tourism needs to have a bit better handle on that.

Wear your best walking shoes, as balancing on the iron shore terrain is tricky. You'll be rewarded with great views of the bluff and some resident booby birds.
