This is a tiny, uninhabited island not far off the shore of Little Cayman. I snorkeled there, and while the current was fairly strong, it wasn't that far and was very shallow the whole way. It was also all sea grass/ sand, so we didn't...More

We kayaked across to this uninhabited island and spent 3 hours exploring and snorkeling. Kayak from Southern Cross cost $25/hr or $65 for the day. Bring water shoes and drinks. Some of the shoreline is rocky. Crabs hiding in mangroves.

Owen Island can only be accessed by hiring a kayak from a nearby resort, or maybe swimming - we've done both. The beach is absolutely stunning and all the way across from the mainland of Little Cayman the sea is crystal clear, and very conducive...More

This is a small island with a nice beach area and calm water. It was located across from Head O'Bay and we took a small boat over, walking might be possible at low tide? Spent the afternoon sitting on the beach, very nice. Love the...More

While my wife and I were at Southern Cross Club, we used one of their kayaks and went over to Owen Island for an afternoon. After spending some time beach combing, we went swimming on their quiet and beautiful beach. We had a wonderful afternoon...More
