Our first stop on our private Silver Thatch Charter was at Stingray City. We were the first boat to arrive and were able to watch the stingrays arrive and surround the boat like an armada. We thought this was the coolest thing ever, but then...More

We visited Stingray City as our Cayman Excursion during our cruise. The experience was truly amazing as we interacted with a stingrays in their natural environment. Our family of 7 - aged 5,7,9,10,&11 - had an amazing experience.

Great excursion! Glad we did it. We were a little apprehensive at first because we have a 6 year old and didn't know how comfortable he would be with stingrays swimming everywhere. He had a great time. He wore a life jacket the whole time,...More

This was our favorite excursion on our recent cruise vacation. Grand Cayman has beautiful waters and this excursion allowed us a little bit of time for everything to experience it. We got to swim with the stingrays, do a little snorkeling, play with the starfish,...More

The stingray are very friendly and will gently rub against your legs as if to embrace you or say hello. They tend to swarm at feeding time, and perhaps get more aggressive because of the feed, but there was never a sense of danger. They...More

It is recommended to go with a small boat but then no company name was given. We are a group of 6 and we would prefer less crowds if possible. Need a contact to book our tour. Thank you.

We went with Sapphire/Red Sail Sports. The boat left from the dock at the Ritz Carlton. CJ and Charlie were awesome. Be sure to bring a dry-bag for your phone.

Is this stingrays in their natural environment? I don't want a "Discovery Cove" experience with captive animals. Thank you!

Yes they are; you are taken to the sting ray "city" which is a 20 minute boat ride in the ocean. You hop off the boat and walk on the sand bar in about waist high water, but you are out in the middle of the ocean. It's... More
Which companies are the best? Worst? Don't deliver what they promise, and do? Any problems being quoted on fee and then being quoted another? Anyone have info on Viator tours? Thank you!!!!

Most are really good and you can read the reviews. I personally try to find operators that don't go out with a giant group so you get somewhat personalized attention.
