If you like to hike, this is a fun way to spend a few hours. Wear sturdy shoes. The trails are composed of sharp coral like rock. It's like hiking through a jungle trail, lots of wildlife if you take the time to stop, look and listen. We saw island parrots, iguanas, lizards, woodpeckers, tons of small birds, snakes, land... Don´t expect too much from this trail but it is a nice walk! You will see some great birds, plants. Try to come early in the morning and don´t forget to bring a lot of water! The hike isn´t a loop so you will have to go the same trail twice. No waterfalls, no lakes on your way... just a... More

Just a trail in the woods. Very thick growth around the trail. I did not see any good photo opportunities.

The trail winds through old growth woodlands unlike any I had seen before...the ground is very rocky, so don't attempt in sandals. It's mostly shaded so you are out of the hot sun for most of the way.

Not too exciting, very out of the way and not really what you come to Grand Cayman to do. Difficult terrain, which is posted at the trailhead. We saw a few cute little lizards and a few birds.

Can be hot, because of dense vegetation. Good balance required to walk over uneven and sharp ironstone. No views or breezes until the end at North Side Rd. If you are lucky, you might spot an Agouti!

The tour guide, Stuart Mailer, is phenomenal. His knowledge of the trail, botany and marine biology made this one of the best nature adventures that I have taken. The tour takes between 3-3.5 hours. The terrain is not great fro those that are unsure on their feet. You get a great feel for how Grand Cayman came to be, the... More

The walk takes 1.5 to 2 hours. Gives a good sense of the terrain of the island. Lots of birds and a variety of forest types. Fairly level but very tough footing on the central section on the sharp coral rock. Wear good shoes and take a walking stick. A fall in the central section would be painful.

Take binoculars and enjoy Cayman parrots, Cuban bullfinches, Black throated Blue warblers, West Indian woodpeckers, vireos, La sagra's flycatchers, kingbirds... A taste of what could be seen 20 years ago around George Town before progress made its inimitable mark. See local trees and bushes and enjoy a peaceful walk. We started from the road in Frank Sound and , having... More

If you have got half a day spare this is well worth a visit - the time is needed both to get to the venue and set up as well as the walk itself. Nothing like we imagined or expected, the trail is a fascinating corner of Grand Cayman with heavy undergrowth to either side of the path, interesting local... More
