A nice quiet place to have a relaxing swim and do some snorkeling. There is a small parking area and curbside parking. There is a small bathroom and plenty of chickens running around.

You always want to go where the locals send you! Smith Cove is fabulous- arrive by rental car or bike! Shady area for picnic lunch or hiding out from the strong sun. The cove has a wonderful wall bed with lots of fish!

This is truly one of our favorite places on the island. Small and uncrowded, the location also provided some amazing sights while snorkeling.

I've been on weekends (crazy busy with locals) and on weekdays when it seemed we had the place to ourselves. Lots to explore and worth a stop if you want to spend a good amount of time snorkeling and seeing a variety of things. I've...More

We’ve been before and it is amazing - gorgeous, awesome snorkeling - previous trips would have been 4 stars. This most recent trip I would rate a 1, so I averaged. We stopped by during Easter weekend and we stayed 5 minutes - that place...More

This place is amazing. There are a few different coves you can enter from. Water clarity gets better and better as you go out. The rock formation in the middle is really fun. Be careful if you go along the left side of the rocks....More

Smith Cove is a very popular swimming and snorkel site just outside of Georgetown. The entrance has a nice beach and is easy even for a new snorkeler. Much of the coral is dead, but there are plenty of fish to see. We also use...More

Smith cove has an entire restroom facility, like a little house. Outdoor rinse shower as well. Very nice. If you are standing at smith cove it is to the left right there in front.

There is a small motel-type place less than a mile north of Smith Cove. I stayed there last year. The name is Riviera Grand Cayman. Very basic, no frills place. It was up for sale so I don't know if it still exists. The... More
