This little beach had it all for a family of all ages. Very little surf for the little ones, a rock to jump off for the more adventurous, and some easy and active snorkeling. Would recommend if you are looking for something more "local" than...More

One of the best places in Grand Cayman to snorkel. We saw many different fish, including an octopus. Great beach and access, with shower and restrooms. Highly recommended!

We loved our time at Smith's Cove. The water was too rough for snorkeling but still fun for swimming. We spent time eating and chilling on the beach. We met many of the locals and enjoyed learning more about the island and the culture.

We rode bikes to Smith Cove and arrived early in the morning. There were only a few other people there when we arrived, but it started getting more crowded as the time went by. The beach is pretty small buy has a unique grotto feel...More

There is a small motel-type place less than a mile north of Smith Cove. I stayed there last year. The name is Riviera Grand Cayman. Very basic, no frills place. It was up for sale so I don't know if it still exists. The... More

How far away is this from where the cruise ships port? I am looking for a beach where the kids can swim and the adults can snorkel.

It is about 2 miles from where the cruise ship docks to the cove. No sidewalks (most of the way).
