Lately the water is a little rough and it can be very Sandy this week but go out and turn left and it's completely clear. Was here back in September. They added a few more picnic tables since last time

This beach was next to the house we rented. The snorkeling is great - we saw an octopus and many colored fish. The water is beautiful and very clear and refreshing. If you are a water person, this is a great spot; there are changing...More

This is a local beach, very small, in a local park with no real place to lay out other than a small stretch of sand. When we went, the ocean was rough! There was nothing to see in the water and it was dangerous to...More

We saw fish and enjoyed our time but was sad to see so much garbage, including broken glass near the beach and picnic area. Wear sandals!

Go early. Ample parking for rentals. Great beach and shade. Facilities on site. Got packed longer we stayed but we were able to snorkel and enjoy the cove before that. Nice scenery and wonderful horizon.

This cove is ideal for swimming, and you can also dive off the cliffs. If you are lucky, you may spot a few fish as well. Parking is extremely limited. Don't go on weekends, as the place is a local favourite and crowded.

This spot is great! It looks just as beautiful and inviting in real life as in the pictures. No crowds - escape from all the cruise people. There is lots of shade under the trees, but also some nice sunny areas by both coves which...More

Very cozy secluded cove surrounded by beautiful coral. Snorkeling is good and well protected so water was fairly calm. Shaded beach with tables. Easy walk in beach with parking.

We visited Smith Beach twice and had very different experiences each time. The first time was after Philippe was moving away from the island. The water was very rough and was crashing against the rocks. There was a couple trying to swim -- they were...More

Plenty of shade, a nice location, plenty of parking. Easy, sandy-bottom water entry with no waves so a perfect spot if you have little ones. We were disappointed in the snorkeling - nothing really terrific and much better spots to explore if you are a...More

There is a small motel-type place less than a mile north of Smith Cove. I stayed there last year. The name is Riviera Grand Cayman. Very basic, no frills place. It was up for sale so I don't know if it still exists. The... More

It is about 2 miles from where the cruise ship docks to the cove. No sidewalks (most of the way).
