Living in cayman we don't do the tourist stuff much but with family went up to rum point - the place is as beautiful as ever with plenty to do and a shallow ocean for the kids. The service is horrific though. The bartender on the satellite bar had no control and treated everyone like they only had one visit... More

This is a wonderful huge beach with shade and sun and food and fun. Easy going feeling and great place for kids. If you are on 7 mile take a taxi or red sail sports trip over. We would have stayed longer if we had time. Can be fun or relaxing -whatever you want.

Great place to spend a day! Clear beautiful colored water with sandy beach with .plenty of chairs and shade if needed. Many services available, we did a sunset cruise and snorkel to stingray and reef. Great little resturant that had awesome food, drink and service. Beach was so relaxing that we spent three days there.

Ok, we do have young kids so this is the perfect beach for them and us. Granted it is a little commercial, and you can argue the food is a little over-priced, but hey, everything else is free! Loungers, clean toilets, and alcohol on tap (well, you pay for that too..). There are pro's and con's though. On the plus... More

You could spend the whole day at run point . They have a full menu, huge drink menu. Lounge chairs and hammocks available at no charge. Water sports offered. We rented a waverunner. Nice beach area for kids. Super clean restrooms. Shopped at gift shop. Highly recommend. Can get busy there was a lot of people when we went.

We stayed near Rum Point during our trip, and made our way there a number of times for a variety of reasons. We ventured out to Stingray City Sandbar through Rum Point's Red Sail Sports, and had an amazing time. Their team was top-notch, and we can't say enough good about that experience! We also shopped for a few needed... More

It's a nice destination after driving around the island but there's little to commend it other than that. Have a CI$10 drink and sit on a beach chair for a while. The beach itself is very small and very shallow - and much dirtier than the rest of the island. It's definitely more of a family affair because the children... More

Getting to Rum Point from most of the places to stay on Grand Cayman can be a bit of a challenge. It's about an hour drive from Georgetown and the Seven Mile Beach area. It's a cute little place on the beach with a huge dock, watersport rentals, and snorkeling. We just came for the awesome Mudslides and some food.... More

Best dinner and drinks on the island. Friendly waitstaff and chefs and awesome atmosphere. We were a large group and they were very accommodating.

Visited Rum Point on an Island Tour. Lovely relaxing spot to stop off at - souvenir shops & bar and snacks available. Good place to snorkel too. Lots of trees near beach so good for shade if needed. Worth a visit. Great place for the kids.
