Anegada or the "drowned island" is completely surrounded by shallow reefs, and has become the focal point of underwater diving due to the many historic shipwrecks that litter the island's underwater depths.

There is truly only one word or phrase to describe Anegada...one word: lobster....one phrase: lobster grilled on the beach...however, as a bare-boater be very careful on your approach to Anegada from Virgin Gorda...but do not cheat yourself out of a totally delightful experience eating freshly...More

Lovely island, wonderful lobsters, people, and beaches. The island has been luckily not been hit too badly from Irma, places are open for business, and the water , flamingos, and people are there and thriving!

Wonderful place and wasn’t hit as hard as the other islands by Irma and Maria. Snorkeling was great and a really fun ride on a dirt road with the motor scooters. Really recommend the scooters over open door taxi. Kids 16+ loved it!

There is a ferry that goes to Anegada three times a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday and if you are lucky also Sunday. You can check online beforehand on the departure and arrival times.
