We have been to BVI 5 times over the last 10 years, chartering sailboats but had never stopped in at Marina Cay. We usually stayed at Saba Rock or The Bitter End before heading out to Anegada, but unfortunately, that is was not an option due to the hurricane. We moored at Marina Cay one night and we had dinner at Pusser's restaurant on the beach - great service, good food....very casual, cute little shops and ok supermarket there for picking up staples.Quiet and easy. Definitely recommend going there if just for lunch or dinner to replenish groceries - or to stay if going on to another island.…

Pusser’s has ceased operations on Marina Cay as of mid October 2019. The Pusser’s web site has a letter from Charles Tobias, elaborating on the closure. No info on the fuel dock, the mooring field, or if a new operator will be coming to Marina Cay.

As with many locations in the BVIs, sometimes you just have to go and show up. Once you show up they are there, but hailing them on the radio produced no response.

Chef Tyrone has outdone himself with the new dinner service here. We had an amazing dinner in the tented dining room by the sea. The food and the service is among the best in the Caribbean--can't beat the location.

Bare boating in the British Virgin Islands is the best. The wind is always right. Marina Cay is my favorite place to visit when island hopping. This island is small and super cute. There is a bar located at the top. Sometimes the bar offers live music. Great snorkeling. Nice photo op at the cool red photo booth. The hotel rooms are small and offers a beautiful view. Worth mooring for the night.…
