The market at Marigot occurs each Saturday. There are many booths with the same clothing goods, but there are also hidden gems such as Pascales French linens.

We visited Marigot Market during a day trip to both sides of St. Maarten-St. Martin. There were plenty of different stalls with some interesing, unusual items to purchase.

Nice stalls with mainly touristic stuff but also fresh fish and food. It also is a good starting point for a walk into the town or to the fort.

Great Outdoor Market where prices are negotiable and the vendors friendly and helpful. English and French are spoken. Fantastic selection of souvenirs and crafts.

When in Marigot you simply are in true French small town life. Very relaxed. Quiet. Refined. Clean. Quant stores and Restaurants. Worth a visit or stay on French side. Hollie

It's on the harbor, so yes, drive along the waterfront and you will see it. Buy fish in the blue and while building, then take it out back and give the guys $2 to clean and scale it for you.
