About St. Maarten Bike Tours - TriSport
Tired of the typical bus and beach tours? Join Tri-Sport for a bike tour. All of our memorable bicycle tours are full of history and led by knowledgeable guides who will coach you along the way. Our shortest and most popular tour is Historical Philipsburg by Bicycle. A six mile bike ride through our capital town and up to historical Fort Amsterdam is a great way to get to know our island. The Cross the Border bike tour is a medium intensity ride that can be customized to fit the needs of your group. The trip ride takes you to Marigot the capital town of the French side of the island to explore the markets and Fort Louis. If the group is up for it make a detour on the way back to catch some airplanes landing at the infamous Maho Beach. For the more experienced cyclists, get your heart pumping on the Gem of St. Maarten tour - 30kms will take you through town, residential areas along a beautiful coastal road all the way to Orient beach - and back. Get ready for some hills!

We did the Guana Bay hike and it was one of the best experiences of our trip. Good shoes (at least runners, definitely not sandals) is required but otherwise for two not very active people the hike was very manageable. The views are such incredible. The only downside is that it doesn’t go all the way to the natural pool at the end of the trail. A more adventurous couple could do this alone, but we very much enjoyed the knowledgeable company of our guide Marci in what turned out to be a private hike!

Many thanks Jenny for taking the time to write a review! Indeed going all the way to Point Blanche(Natural pool) is for adventurers as you do sort a very steep hill by the cliff; it is better to start from the point blanche side of he trail to visit he pool.

Despite the review this tour was pretty fun and I learned a good bit, however when we got off to take a break, I went to use the bathroom and was left behind and my bike was gone. Worst Day of My Life!

This proved to be a great experience for our family of five. It was just the right amount of kayaking and snorkeling to have a fun time. Our instructor, Chris, was very personable, knowledgeable and patient. He made it all worthwhile. Liked the drinks afterwards. Would highly recommend for families or novice kayakers/snorklers looking to have a good time without spending a small fortune.

Well organised but with such a big group there was bound to be one idiot who wouldn't listen to instructions. He was eventually kept in check and it was interesting to get a different and slower view of Philipsburg, though there were limited opportunities for sightseeing and this is not a tour for the more adventurous.

Hello Bobby, thanks for the review. the Historical Philipsburg tour is indeed not a very long bike route. We focus more on History and facts of the Island. Please if you would like a longer distance adventure check the other bike tours we offer as the Gem of SXM. or Two Countries one bike Tour. yours in sports, JP
