Had a great time racing world class yachts! The guys treated us amateur sailors great and all had a good laugh along with the work of racing. This was my wife and I second time and we brought our 12 year old daughter who had a blast and got to steer the boat after the race (quite a highlight for... More

This tour was recommended by my sister who has done it twice before. I wasn't disappointed. No sailing experience required. The captain and two crew members explain everything. Everyone gets a job, from time keeper, barman/lady, to being a 'grinder' working the winches to trim the sails. Grinders get a workout, so be prepared if you get assigned this job... More

Loved it. Worked as crew on one of three 12 meter yachts that sail against each other. I sailed on the yacht Stars & Stripes 87 that was the last 12-meter yacht to win the America’s Cup. An experience of a lifetime, not to be missed!

These folks run a finely tuned machine that caters to everyone regardless of sailing experience! You'll have fun and feel the history of these beautifully crafted sailboats! They were the equivalent of the Formula One race cars of their time! My wife and I both enjoyed this activity from start to finish! Thanks to the crew of CANADA2!

Stopped off on St Maarten and this was the only 'trip' I wanted to do. Captain Morgan and his fab crew were great putting everyone to task and getting our crew all prepared to be winners. We didn't let him down (he's a hard man to please). A most excellent three hours of the available time spent on the island.... More

Don't be fooled - you are really crewing and racing a real sailing yacht! This was the most exhilarating, exerting, and incredible activity we did as a cruise excursion. They make it seem optional, but there are many crew positions (at least 10) where you're actively operating part of the boat. What makes it even more exciting is that you're... More

Embarked onboard Stars and Stripes for an exciting America's Cup Regatta Experiance. Captain Morgan (yes he's really the CAPT) and his crew were excellent instructors, hosts, and facilitators as our team worked together in a 5 lap race against True North. We were all tasked with the the various duties of Regatta team members.. It is on every team member... More

We booked from a Fred Olsen cruise. It was a brilliant excursion to book, unlike anything we've done before. Great fun and exhilarating. Would recommend

This is a wonderful experience for those of us who have little or no sailing experience. Anyone who is looking for a real sailing challenge will probably be disappointed. I had originally thought about choosing to be an inactive “participant”, but at the last minute changed my mind and I was glad that I did. You will be assigned a... More

Thanks for taking the time to review our "America's Cup" racing excursion. And I'm glad you decided to accept a 'crew' job. It's a lot more fun isn't it? And don't worry about those longtime sailors....they get a big thrill out of racing on arguably the most famous of all American sailboats, the winner of the greatest ever America's Cup,... More

My wife and I did this excursion off the Carnival Sunshine. Was awesome. This is the way to go especially if you've never sailed before; these boats were the world's finest back in the day so pretty neat to be part of the crew. I was the primary grinder and the main grinder, and my wife was a "winch wench"... More
