While visiting St. Maarten via Carnival Cruise, we booked a dive not knowing what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised and impressed with both the dive operator and the diving itself. Saw lots of reef and nurse sharks, eagle rays, huge lobsters, a wreck and a turtle. So much fun and the professionalism was on point. The owner (forgot his... More

Thank you for your review Karry, but you were not diving with CDC. You have been diving with Octopus Diving SXM and I am encouraging you to leave your nice review with them as they clearly have deserved it. Warmest regards, Michel - SNUBA SXM More

So after doing my due diligence, I e-mailed to get booking details and was responded to by the folks at Octopus Diving. It would seem that they have taken over the shop and dive operations at Bobbys Marina.

This was my first visit to St Maartin and I booked a 2 tank dive through the cruise ship. We were met inside the ship by someone from the shop and had our waivers filled out and C cards checked before we ever left the ship. The shop is very close to the port and in a very nice area.... More

We booked our excursion through Royal Caribbean cruise for St.Maartin in January 2015. We had booked it as a family excursion. We decided to do the snuba over the Sea Trek helmet with a maze because of the freedom we had to move around. Our children's ages range from 14 to 26 and we all had an amazing time. We... More

Did a two tank dive with this group while on a Cruise. I was able to book directly with them and save $20 over the cruise price. Their gear was decent. BC's were in good working order. Not all compasses and depth gauges worked and my intital mouthpiece was torn but they made sure we were all satisfied before heading... More

This was the best dive I've done yet, though my experience is fairly limited. Tons of sea life including sting rays, black and white moray eels, turtles, fish galore, and even reef sharks! We also got to explore different wrecks and reefs. The staff at CDC was very outgoing, friendly, informative, safe, and fun. Typh was the dive master leading... More

As a certified diver, I signed up for this course with my family (who are not divers). I understand that this was only an intro course, which was my intention. I just wanted to see if my family would enjoy exploring SCUBA further at a later time. Unfortunately, the introduction was so rushed, nobody could have grasped the concept if... More

I’ve been seriously diving at Caribbean Dive College for quite some time. Completed rescue diver, dive master and master scuba-diver training at CDC. The serious but fun way Course Director Mich and his staff members are teaching diving made me do - I don’t know how many - specialties, including (TEC) side-mount and multiple TEC trainings. All super fun! For... More

Stormy and I have been scuba divers for almost a decade but due to circumstances haven't been able to dive for a few years. Getting re-certified on an island is just about the best way to do it due to the usually high quality of the dive masters. We looked around a lot in St Maarten for a good place... More
