Our hotel was only minutes away from Frontstreet which happens to be the place to go shopping for souvenirs, gifts, ans presents. The cruise ship guests come here as well so you are always guaranteed sales and specials.

We love all the shops. We are in St. Maarten for 2 weeks every year and we drive from Maho Beach at least six times a year over to Front Street in Plillipsburg. The people are so friendly and interesting. We are counting down the...More

Very local flavor with a variety of shops and casinos. I go to there to have watches and jewelry repaired which is a lot less $$ than what they charge here in Charlotte.

We spent about 3 hours just shopping and seeing the sights. I always like to compare prices from store to store. Most people will work with you, some are a little more pushy than others, but its not a problem. Some people are just simply...More

This is a funny spot. If the cruise ships are in it booming and lively, if not, it seems a little deserted. Not every thing is open than. All sorts of shops high range and bargains. Fun to spend a couple of hours. We have...More

We had two jewelry purchases to make and we feel like we did well with prices and service. The staff at Tommy Bahama were great too.

Back street is the cheap and a few blocks from whopping and beach, but at least its free if you can find it. I recommend the Bobbys Marina at $1 an hour if you can get it.

Sharon, The main street, Front St, is about 12-14 blocks. Being from NYC, I will clarify that these are not "City" blocks but much shorter. Strolling at a leisurely pace, you can go from one end to the other in about 1/2... More
