We stopped in at the image tree for a quick souvenir from Soufriere. We were looking for an ornament for our Christmas tree, but found much more. This small shop has a lovely owner who stocks items from local artists. We found some beautiful artwork to take home.

a very colourful place and nice scarves and purses. Its not great for men but on the other hand, what don't we do for our girls?

There aren't a lot of interesting craft shops in Soufriere. But, I definitely recommend the Image Tree. The owner was really friendly and knowledgeable. Her former shop had recently burned down and she lost everything except for a few items. I bought one of those - a unique carved parrot. I didn't see anything like it anywhere else and I thought the price was better than Zakas. She still needs to build up her stock, but her enthusiasm for the arts and crafts of St Lucia and her can do attitude will always make me hope that her new store will do well.…
