They say that this is the largest Cathedral in the Western Caribbean, and I'm not about to argue with that. The Cathedral is truly impressive, more so inside than out. The cavernous interior is both daunting but strangely comforting, with open louvred windows allowing zephyrs to cool the air. But the crowning glory of this Cathedral has to be the... More

It's an old church but is it ever nice! Very well kept and also much used by the people of Castries. It certainly is worth a visit, let it all come in on you. Sit in a pew and imagine what it would have been like 200 years ago when this Cathedral was built.

Loved my visit to this church, with a history voice-over from my guide. Really stunning building, which I would love to have seen "in action" for a service.

We called by here when walking around the Castries just next the Derk Walcott Park. Take in both. The Cathedral is over two hundred years old and is amazing architectularly. Well worth a visit when in Casries and is a short distance from the Cruise Terminal if you have time after your ships tours.

This was a fantastic sight. I visited as part of another tour and was blown away by the beauty of the building. They do have mass there if you are so inclined.

This is a peaceful place to spend a bit of time in Castries. The inside is large but not very beautiful. The roof is made of wood and is in need of restoration in places. The cathedral is worth a short visit if you are in Castries

If you have time in the capital, then this church is worth a look. An impressive structure and a good way to see local religious culture.

Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church is a beautiful landmark building in the heart of Saint Lucia. Colourful stained glass windows with antique architecture are a sight to view. Very inspirational site to visit and tour. A beautiful place to attend Sunday Mass.
