Went to Sunday morning Mass here. The church is so open & colorful. It is not air conditioned and it was HOT. There are vendors outside selling over priced water. Bring your own because nothing else is open in the area. Also dress up; there is a dress code & casual won’t cut it. The music is quite festive & the congregants are very welcoming. Said to be one of the largest in the Caribbean the cathedral is certainly one of the most striking. My wife and I popped in when strolling around off our cruiser and enjoyed the ambiance of the building greatly. From the outside this church looks very old and Unkept but when you go inside the interior is amazing with the colorful murals. The church is apparently over 400 years old

While it didn't start until 10:30am rather than 10, it was worth the wait. Small choir, but keyboard, drum and guitar. Music director obviously a pro. A teen girl sang Panis Angelicus, and it was superb.
