Make sure you're in shape to get all the way to the top, wear good hiking shoes with ankle support. The guide was friendly and supportive.

The 2 pitons are a must see when visiting St. Lucia. You can snorkel or suba right near the base of the pitons.

The resort I was staying at organized the guides... At the foot of the trail is a small community/village called Fond Gens Libre where guides can be hired.
