Pigeon island is a beautiful nature reserve with gentle hikes and beaches. The prices vary depending on whether you're a tourist or local. You can also purchase a sun lounger for when you are on the beach. Once there you can walk around the island and read about the history of the island. There are two walks you can do... More

Lovely walk. Saw the Bare -eyed thrush. Lovely views if you walk to where the canons are. Steep pathway up to the canons. Shady walk through the first part of pigeon island.

This was cool to see. Wish they would have had a map or some literature. Bring water. It is quite the home to the top of the fort where the cannons are

Easy hike to the top! Took us about 40 minutes to get to the tallest peak, but it was well worth it for the views!! I'd totally recommend doing it!

If you like to hike to breath taking views this is the place for you. Situated at the edge of the Grand you can hike, the incline gets steeper as you travel up. You will be treated to striking views of the ocean and Rodney Bay. The history of the island as a gateway to paradise becomes crystal clear. Definitely... More

The first hike is the easiest- the one up to the actual fort. Gorgeous view! The second hike to the tallest point is much harder. Be sure to wear tennis shoes! I only packed flip flips but I toughed it out. Be aware of lots of loose rocks. But once you are at the top the view of the peninsula... More

Take a break from the beach & visit Pigeon Island. It's well worth a few hours only a short drive from Rodney Bay. The hike to Fort Rodney was straight forward & easy with a good path right to the top. The views South are worth it & the cool breeze was a bonus.

My husband and I walked over twice the week we were staying at Sandals. Great workout if you both peaks. And what views!! On a clear day you can see the island of Martinique in the distance too! There is $7 US per person charge and we both thought it would be a nice touch for Sandals to partner with... More

Wonderful way to spend a couple hours immersing yourself in island history (fortifications built in1780 and used as recently as WWII) and enjoying beautiful scenery. It is a 10-15 hike to the top of the hill where the major fortifications are but well worth it as you have great views of the island down to the Pitons and over to... More
