While the beach itself is nice, there is substantial traffic and airport noise since the airport is right across the street. The people at the Comfort Station were very rude and quite a number of cars park and drive close to where you are seated....More

Couldn't fault the beach, We arrived early so it was quiet. Literally had the place to ourselves. I felt the loungers were expensive $20 for 2 sun loungers but I read on a previous post someone was charged $10 for 2. $7 for 2 beers...More

Vigie Beach is a nice beach with plenty of natural shade and great views. The water is pretty and the sand is nicer than the other St. Lucia beaches we have been to. I went to Vigie by myself and felt completely safe. There were...More

Nice beach, really. The only thing was that the locals came up to us and tried to take our money. We were extremely uncomfortable. One filled up our empty beer bottle with sand, gave it to our 3 year old and said $5, expecting us...More

I followed the advice of recent travelers and skipped the Rodney Bay beaches and went to Vigie Beach instead. We walked there although a cab would have been better as the walk was less than scenic. The restaurant and beach are directly across the street...More

Vigie is the closest beach to the cruise ship terminal. It boarders a cemetery and airport. You cannot walk to it from the docking area. Much better beaches to spend the day at for a cab ride of $12-15 per cab each way.
