My wife and I recently stayed at a resort close to Soufriere and we don't recommend the town for the faint of heart. Although the resort had top-notch amenities, staff, food and service (as well as security) the town was depressed, dangerous, and uninviting. I don't write this to disparage the town or its people, but rather to spare visitors... More

We spent 16 days in St Lucia , stationed at the Still Beach House in Soufriere. The bay is very beautiful with what we found to be very good snorkelling oblong the north end. As all beaches it is public and very well used by both visitors and locals alike. There is always plenty of activity, from kids to sports... More

The streets are narrow, lovely to explore. The bay is beautiful with the Pitons adding to the beauty of this place.

Stunning views of Petit Piton and nice place for an afternoon stroll. Water taxis are available to take you to Anse Chastanet amongst other places. Worth a stop off

This little town is very quaint. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. The streets are very narrow and you really wonder how two cars can fit (usually they honk and one waits!) The view of the bay and mountains is lovely.

Soufriere Bay is a very nice bay with a scenic setting. The little town of Soufriere is not spoiled yet by mass-tourism and it is pleasant to vitit and wander around.

Nestled on the south of the island, Soufriere is an absolute joy to visit. There are a number of local attractions to visit and trips to go on. Once here, the mail town area and sea front is flat with everything accessible. If not staying at a.resort, there are many places to shop for fresh goods if you are self... More

I had the pleasure of walking through this small town with my driver. Culture is everywhere, Creole (Kwèyòl) is in the air. People are kind, welcoming and want you to see their town. Walk down by the harbor for a tremendous view of Petit Piton.

Pleasantly surprised by the beach - easy and free access/parking. Practically deserted with clear Caribbean waters. If you get there in the morning you can help the local fishermen haul in their nets and see what they have caught - a fun experience.

Approached the bay on a boat and were greeted by a young lad jumping off a cliff into the water. What a welcome and well worth the expected dollar tip. Ate lunch at the restaurant on the beach. Food ok but as we were on a tour we had limited choice. Views from restaurant terrace stunning.
