This is the beach you want if the bar and restaurant scene is your thing. It's busy due to it's accessibility, central location, and food/beverage options. It's a white sand beach looking out over moored boats and shallow waters. Great beach for meeting others, and simply having a good time.

We spent an afternoon enjoying this beautiful location. It is easy to see why it is so popular. The views and beach are spectacular!

Personally I wouldn't pick this beach to stay on. It's small, there are a lot of boats moored, it can feel a bit crowded and that is not my taste. If you want to stay on a white beach with quite a choise of bars and restaurants around, then St Jean Beach is for you.

This was our third visit to St. Jean Beach. Since 2013 there have been some changes. They've restricted the beach area on the airport side; in the past, this area was popular with tourists - it was a great vantage point to take pics/movies of planes taking-off and landing there. We believe this airport is on the world's top-10 list... More

St. Jean Beach is a beach lined up with restaurants. At one end of it you'll find the famous Eden Rock Sand Bar. The bay offers cristal clear and very calm waters. Great for family swims and snacks. Not my preferred beach on the island though. If, like me, you prefer more "Robinson Crusoe" types of beaches, aim for Colombier... More

We signed up through Simpson Bay concierge and left from Aqua Mania. You need to bring your passport and sign a waiver. Drinks are included but no snacks. The boat ride to St Barth’s was really rough (against the current), a couple people got sea sick. Once we arrived in St Barth's, we went through immigration (real quick) and then... More

I spent the day there with my mother and boyfriend and were amazed by the beauty of the beach. The color of the water, the little boats there, the white sand....it was like paradise....We were just really disappointed that the beach had no infrastructure at all and Nikki Beach was closed.Oh,and there were no trash cans there so we saw some cans and... It is 5 minutes walking distance from the airport, and well worth the short walk. The water is a beautiful transparent blue. Children were playing in the waves and loving it. The water was warm. I could have stayed in the ocean all day.

We came to this island and this beach last year for our engagement and fell In love. The water is complete clear, the weather is perfect. There is so much to do.
