You won't find crowds at this beautiful beach, but you won't find shade either, so bring an umbrella.

Every day, we explored a different beach or two and Anse du Gouverneur was my favorite. Unspoiled, not crowded at all...perfect water, nice breeze, and clean sand. There is nudity on the beach, but hey, that's what being in nature is all about!

This is the best beach for strolling and photos, beautiful powdery sand and water colour, fashion shoots, with lovely nature in background.

This is my second favourite beach on the island. Beautiful crescent beach that is easy to get to and lots of light late in the day. Stare at the cliffs to your left and eventually you will see the goats. You might think they are...More

Gouverneur beach is located on the South part of the island next to Saline beach. It is easily accessible via rental car or cab ride.
