While on a taxi tour with Lollipop, we stopped at Jo Bean Glass. I got a heart to put on my vacation display shelf. Watched a glass bead being formed by Jo.

Beautiful work making glass trinkets . Really cool when she lets you have a go too. Jo is a very interesting lady too so i'm sure if she's not to busy she'll stop for a good chat

We took our kids (ages 7 and 9) and spent a couple of hours at JoBean's learning how to make our own glass beads. As scary as it seemed at first to use blow-torches, under Jo's expert tutelage it turned out to be easy and super fun, and we successfully made 5-6 beads each which we then strung together into... Very exciting time watching original glass work being created. Most people don't get to see this and especially this level of beauty.

Interesting glass artistry. The owner and in house artist is an energetic and talkative lady with a gift for glass art. She gives lessons and works in a variety of media. She was making something for our lady cab driver Shelly that looked as if it was going to by remarkable. Everything i hand made and unique. Very colorful and... More

I confess, my wife and I know Jo Bean. To be more candid, Jo's a good friend of ours and we've known her for years. Also, knowing nothing about glass art and jewelry might for some make my comments questionable. Not true. For the typical visitor to Saba, Jo's an outgoing, intelligent, talented artist that you would like to know.... More

Did a drop in "tour" of Jo Bean Glass while on the island. Only stayed a few minutes but found the demonstration to be interesting. Quite a bit to purchase if you like glass beads and creations. All of them were nicely done. I am sure you could request a certain type, color, and design on beads as each piece... More

We stopped in after diving and were able to meet 2 of the ladies in the shop. They are super talented and have very unique pieces! Defined worth the time to stop in and shop local!

My husband and I took a dive trip to Saba Island. We were diving 8 days. We decided to dive 4, take a day off and dive 4 more. On our day off I wanted to take a class with JoBean, the glass bead lady. Well, my husband didn't want to take a class, but said he would go with... More

Jo was so patient and kind as she taught me how to make glass beads, including hearts! I could have spent many more hours in her studio not only admiring her work but simply watching and talking with her and her adorable pups!
