My wife and I hiked to this beach from Little Bay. It took us about 50 minutes each way including about 10 minutes to admire the views, take pictures, and look at the flora and fauna. The hike is not easy, but manageable if you...More
My family and I went to rendezvous not long ago, and were extremely disappointed.
It’s a good 30-50minute hike up and down steep hills, as you can not drive down.
It started off, as not an easy place to find where to park before the...More
This is a white sand beach with a sloping angle, producing waves. Once past the waves it has a current but is pleasant. There isn’t much shade on this beach -and the day we came, the trash can was full and bits of plastic bags...More
Island Dive Center dropped us (2 adults and 2 teens) off at the beach after a great couple of dives. We brought food and had a nice picnic on the beach during the middle of the day. Not a ton of shade, but we enjoyed...More
Fun hike and rewarding beach. The trail head starts beyond the construction site north of Little Bay. Park near the fence and follow the trail up and over to the beach. The trail has some steep parts, but is doable in running shoes or hiking...More
It's quite the hike to get to Rendezvous beach but it's absolutely worth it. If memory serves, it's the only white sand beach on the island. The waters are so clear and calm. We were the only ones there aside from a snorkeler who never...More
Locals have told us that this is the highest the water in Bear Lake has been for 20 years, so beach has been hard to find. Not so at Rendezvous Beach. There is still plenty of beach to make an afternoon of fun. The park...More

The trail to Rendezvous Beach leaves from beside the port entry gate in Little Bay, wanders around the edge of the compound and then starts to climb up through the bush. There's a noticeable tree to shade from once you reach the highest point, then the trail winds down through the trees to the left towards the beach. It can be a little steep in places, so it is recommended to wear sturdy footwear and carry fresh water to drink. The peaceful, tranquil beach and pristine snorkeling is worth the effort. There are no showers at Rendezvous itself, but over the hill in Little Bay there are public showers available. Get in touch with Montserrat Island Dive Centre for snorkel equipment rentals or guided snorkeling and diving! Hope this helps!
