Great viewing point, and a must visit stop on your Montserrat tour. Make sure you watch the volcano movie (free) so good!

The observatory is a must visit place on Montserrat, but be warned there is not much there. You get to watch a very interesting film by Dave Lee (from Hill Top Cafe) and if you're lucky, you might see the helicopter taking off or landing....More

We came here on part of a tour of the island. Learned a lot about the Interesting, yet tragic history of the territory. Very moving. I would recommend a random stop here or as part of a tour.

When we arrived they just finished the demonstration of the vulcano video and we'd have to wait for another hour for the next one so we didn't see much. We just took a photo of the vulcano and left.

If you want to learn about volcanoes and the impact the Soufriere Hills volcano had on the island of Montserrat check out the MVO. Highly educational!
