Very calm and very beautiful bay with clean stretches of sand and plenty of sun!! Great for spending a lazy day tanning and swimming. Kid friendly as well, but if you're wanting to have a quite day, the beach is quite long so lots of room for everyone!

Beach was clean of garbage. You don't need water shoes to protect your feet. The water will get deep fast. Little kida could really get the hang of body surfing as the waves are manageable. Surf is not so fierce that you can not swim. Bring a cooler ofnyour davorite beverage, beach towels and snacks.

Sun Bay is a public beach with a long stretch of sand and shade. This is one of the few beaches in Vieques that you can pull the car up, park and have shade along with the sun. There are trees right along the beach so if you get too much sun you can set yourself under a tree for... More

This sun bay is more like park setting with shades, well-maintained restrooms, and a little shop. When we got there in the afternoon, only two couples there on the beach. There're large open parking lots not only for cars but also for strolling horses. Later, we learned several bio bay tours used this place for pickup.

Great for shell hunting but a little rocky and rough for our 4 year olds. Beautiful with lots of horses walking around.

Beautiful beach with wild horses everywhere! Unfortunately the water was not clear for snorkelling, and there was quite a bit of seaweed on the beach, but it is in a great location to walk to other beaches and there are amenities (cafe, washrooms, lifeguards).

Very nice people who work for the park and I love the views of the ocean and sky. If they are open to sell coconuts they are awesome.

We came on a Wednesday afternoon and practically had the whole beach to ourselves. It was an unforgettable experience.

We drove through one evening and it was a nice each, but very crowded. We couldn't figure out why anyone would pay to go to a beach on this island, when you can go to amazing beaches for free?
