This might be the most accessible beach on the island. The road is easy and you can park very close to the water. Great for families. There are also more facilities such as bathrooms and gazebos unlike the more remote beaches. We enjoyed this beach and is not overcrowded like the more trendy Caracas. However if you have the chance... More

It's one of the busier places, but it's stunning nonethelss. We lay in the water for hours, let the fish dance around our feet (small ones). The highlight was skimming rocks in the water. Every now and then (about 4 throws), it would scare a fish and you would see them skim across the water like a jet boat. Worth... More

Very large bay to spread out on, barrooms at entrance and cafe too, good for large groups camping spots too, large grassy areas and trees, this bay entrance is also the entrance for Playa Media Luna and Navio beach, just take the dirt road(s) on the left and follow the signs, very well marked

Could be when we were there, weekdays in August but no crowds. We parked the jeep right behind us on the beach. The water was clear and warm with just enough wave action to make it fun. No body surfing waves just fun waves. There are clean restrooms, outside showers to wash the sand off, a restaurant. and plenty of... More

White sand, incredible view, calm water, shade. Just enough people to feel safe but def not crowded. We had such a lovely time with our family here.

Great beach, liked by both locals and tourists alike. Lovely golden sand, clean, with facilities and concessions. Easy parking very close to the beach.

This is a public park that charges apx $4 to get in. It is a large bay with varying conditions. Depending upon the side of the bay the wind and waves will vary. The bay closest to the entrance and pavilion has a nice breeze and more amenities for visitors (picnic tables, etc.). However, if it is quite windy the... More

Clean, beautiful beach. Horses wandered freely by the beach. We were there in July and practically had the beach to ourselves. Travel a little further past Sun Bay (dirt road) and visit Playa Media Luna too!

The very best place for a full day of beach fun. There are trails to walk to secluded beaches, plenty of palms for shade and room to play in or out of the water.

One of the beautiful beaches in vieques. We rented a jeep from maritzas and visited as many as we had time for. This was close to Esperanza and our guesthouse.
