Boat tour worked great, kept the group together and we were able to hear all the information. Tour guide did a great job of educating us about the bay, and what they are doing to keep it this way. They only offer the tour when there is good visability, which is great. The bus ride is very bumpy on the... More

What a super cool excursion in Vieques! The night turned out perfect... no moon and cloudy. The guide we had was super - very energetic and knowledgeable... personable as well. I've never seen stars so beautiful in the night sky... and the bioluminescent bay was just unbelievable. Highly suggest this trip!!

I'm a scuba diver, so I had seen bioluminescence in the ocean, but nothing compared to seeing this. You can see the fish swimming as their trails light up blue. If you scoop up water and drop it over your legs, it sparkles all the way down to the bottom of the kayak. It rained on us at the end... More

we took the pontoon boat and they did a fantastic job with the old bus trip to the bay and the boat trip.

so we did that tour as recommended and indeed it is impressive, but make sure you go on an evening with not much moon light because the more light, the less you will see.

Yes there are mosquitos... but its worth it. You will get wet but the water is warm. And its beautiful. It was one of the best experiences of my life.

Our tour was a little rough around the edges, but then again it is not Disney! Paddling a kayak on this bay and experiencing the bioluminescence is a great experience. Best with little moonlight.

Don't leave Vieques without experiencing a tour of this Bio-luminescent Bay. Yes there are mosquitos present year round so bring Deet-free bug repellent. If you are able to do a kayak tour, I find this to be the best way to experience this wonder because you will want to touch the water and see the action up close.

This is a must see, you have never seen and will never see anything like this in your life. It's like swimming in glitter.

Maybe it was just too bright of a night but we were disappointed with our experience on the bioluminescent tour. It was cool to see the water light up and flash underneath our glass bottomed kayak, but after about 20 minutes it became boring.
