A true archaeology site

Not an amusement park this is a fascinating site if you are truly into history and archaeology. Glad it has been preserved but hope government continues to support it.

This place is awesome! Learned so much Esteban was very knowledgeable and friendly . He answered all my husband questions, and believe you me he had a lot. Very patient provided direction to other attractions within the area. Highly recommend my fellow brothers and sisters to bring their children to learn about our Indios Tainos. My husband idea , He is... More

It's interesting. You will walk a lot. It's mostly outdoors. They have a souvenir shop. Go comfortable.

Everyone from the island should come at least once. This place will alow you to understand how our indian predecesors lived...can't say ancestors because the spaniards wiped them all out.

This time around, the only things you can see is half of three of the squares and one little hut almost to the point of collapsing. With no money for maintance,... More

The museum is very informative and I learned somethings about the tainos and the pre-tainos on the island before them, the park is a nice walk and you get to see the ball court and other stone structures they built, the only thing is that the structures did not have any information signs on them as too read what each... If this is the best we can do at maintaining our Indian heritage....!!! Just a bunch of rocks laying around with no explanation whatsoever, the guide does a fairly good job once you get him warmed up.

Had a great learning experience on the taino indian background. Pretty amazing how much got done around their times with no technology. Definitely check this place out if your nearby in the south region of Puerto Rico.

The museum and ruins don't take much time to see - an hour or two tops. The ruins basically consist of some small stone walls with a few very faint petroglyphs. No trails to hike.
