El Morro is a world heritage site for a reason. Its spectacular location along the coast line and interesting historical value are well worth exploring. A visit to the fort combined with a stroll through old San Juan make for a very pleasant afternoon/evening.

We spent the morning exploring the two forts in old town San Juan. This one had a lighthouse and a lot of cannon and other artillery to view. There were also a lot of displays and great historical information about San Juan's history.
