Great for outdoor activities. Children love it. The only thing is that there is no near bathroom. Private Parking available.

Focal point is the beautiful tall totem pole. Not much in the area. Really dark at night. No lights nearby. Would go during light hours to appreciate the area.

We visited this landmark while strolling the streets of Old San Juan last week looking for a nice place to eat. The Totem Pole is a unique statue that commemorates the 500 anniversary of Columbus discovering the New World.

I attend classes at the Liga de Arte right by this plaza. I love the sculpture and the activity around it. From the upper platform you have a very of El Morro and the Atlantic Ocean. At the lower level there is a fountain where you find kids cooling off during a beautiful warm San Juan day. It is worth... More

What's so nice about these older cities is the dedication to creating plaza's where the people could congregate and relax, talk, and meet one another, this one is especially special with it's monument for the 5 centuries and the Ponce De Leon statue for it's founder. There's also a waterfront arena venue for music and things.

We were wandering around Viejo San Juan and enjoyed this little plaza. The area is safe and artistic which makes it a wonderful spot to chill.

From afar, we thought this was a palm tree that had lost its top. It inspired us to take a closer look and we studied it for quite a while before determining it was made of fired clay. It's a very unique piece and draws you in to read about what it stands for - all in Spanish so I'm... More

Impressive emblem of the feelings about the visit of Columbus to Hispaniola. Beautiful view point to see El Morro and much of the old city and cemetery . Often a locale of concerts in Viejo San juan.

This small plaza at the corner of Calles San Sebastian and Del Cristo is one of the oldest of the many plazas in Old San Juan and is surrounded by some of San Juan’s oldest structures including La Iglesia San Jose, the second oldest church in the New World. Unfortunately, ongoing restoration of the church and other buildings in the... More

Extremely beautiful space architecture sculpture and views... You almost feel far away from everything yet you are closer than you think.
