There is a small fee to get onto this beach, but it's worth the money to sit on a clean beach. It has a lifeguard on duty and a small restaurant with cold beverages. There are a couple of Kayaks available to rent as well as a wind surf board we used as a SUP board. Monkey island is just... More

We got there early in the morning (10am - apparently early by the local standard:) and the beech was a mess - tons of garbage and everything else you could imagine just thrown out the sea. There were two local guys "working" but as soon as they collected the entrance ticket they resumed resting instead of coping with the trash...... More

This is an easy place to get to. The swimming is good here. I understand a lot of the land around has been bought and a bigger, nicer beach is coming.

lots of rubbish, debris on beach, beautiful sand but wish it was well maintained - there is a bar on the beach for drinks and food. frequented by locals so good place to meet new folks too

Of all the beaches we visited, this one seemed to have the biggest problem with trash. Also there was a charge to visit here whereas other beaches only charged for chairs or asked a donation for maintenance. It is a beautiful view though.

The beach is a lovely one and the water is very warm and invigorating. The club house is also clean and refreshments are available. The main problems are: the garbage strewn along the length of the beach including foliage, cleaning of the beach is very limited; the entry fee is undeserved given the state of the beach. There is also... More

Quiet and potentionally a very beautiful beach, but the dodgy looking fellas charging entry fee and the completly littered sand makes this a big dissapointment. When the dodgy looking fellas failed to hassle us to a boatride, they topped it by lowering their voice and try to sell us ganja. What a waste.

Visited with my family and when we got there it was empty no visitors at all. The water was dirty and the entry fee was ridiculous. It's a beautiful beach other than that. Left straight away.

This could easily have been the nicest beach in the area, if not for all the garbage. We each paid 800 J$ to a rude and pushy bloke at the enterance, who tried to sell us boat tours. When we declined, he wanted to sell us weed. We don't smoke, so finally he ended up not giving us back our... More
