Beautiful and refreshing!

Lovely place! Not as commercialized or tourist-trapped as dunns river falls! Cool, clear lagoon like waters!

We did a private tour with a local guide (his name was bread). We just headed to reach falls crossroads by shared minivan/route taxi and there were already men waiting to offer you a private tour. You don't go to the main entrance but you start right at the bottom of the waterfall and walk all the way up until... More

Maybe it was the long drive, 1hr plus from Portland, maybe its because Dunn's river falls are much longer, perhaps because ---show off---we have been to Iguassu, amazing, on Brazil/Argentian border. Sorry these falls were a bit ordinary and in our opinion not worth the drive over very bumpy roads! Rainforest was interesting some beautiful humming birds.

Reach falls was well worth the trip ! We used a guide who knows his way around & some spots may be quite slippery so it is best not to go on your own. There are quite a few falls , swimming spots in cool, clean & refreshing river water along our way up the river to the biggest falls at... More

We arrived on a Tuesday and the falls were closed, but the owner of the property just below the falls took us on a hiking tours through his property to where the falls fell into pools. The view was beautiful from there and we got to swim in the pools and take pictures without other tourists in them :) paying... More

Drove down to Mancheoneal from Long Bay. Dorian met us at the junction and offered to take us into the falls for the same price as the admission fee. Sounded good, and if we had J$2500 on us, we'd have done it. Dorian is a nice kid, he would make a good guide. You can contact him at 876-585-6481 Good... More

My husband and I had an amazing time hiking up Reach Falls! We hired a local guide, Najae, who was fantastic! He showed us where to climb up and where to jump safely into the waterfalls. The water is absolutely amazing, crystal clear!! I could've stayed there all day, though our two-hour hike was definitely extensive. We climbed up to... More

I went here during my stay back in October of 2015 and I must say it was a wonderful experience. It was getting close to the end of the dry season and there wasnt much water coming off the falls itself but dont let that stop you as it allowed us to further explore the little caves under the water.... Cool, clean mountain falls with much to keep you busy. We spent a long afternoon swimming and ducking into the caves under the falls,
