This is one of the most unique experiences you'll find. The bar is made entirely of driftwood and is a great spot to hand some swag or such to tell the world you've been here. Hurry to get here, then slow down and enjoy the ambience, fabulous fresh seafood and a cool cocktail and swim. Floyd is a true ambassador... More

A must see spot when in Jamaica! The bar sits about half a mile off the coast of St Elizabeth parish and is only accessible by boat. Make sure to negotiate a good deal on your boat ride, the driver will wait for you while you party. There are no bathrooms here, just the ocean, so make sure you take... More

We used Big Easy for transport from RIU Negril and stopped at YS Falls and then headed here. Great views, warm water and cold beers. Loved watching the locals (including our Big Easy) play riveting dominoes!! A must do!

We found out about the Pelican bar by chance and ended up with a pirvate taxi (Gary's tours) to get there and spend the time we wanted. The cost is $US 20 per person for the return journey by fishing boat to the bar which is situated about one mile out to sea on a sand bar. This is a... More

We've been going to Floyd's Pelican Bar for the past 3 years, and it's definitely our favorite place to go to when we are in Jamaica. It's about an hour and a 1/2 car ride from Negril, but we make a day of it. Our cab driver/friend advised that if you take this trip and you're staying at an all-inclusive... More

One of the best experiences you can have in Jamaica. Well worth the cost to hire a boat. Don't forget to have your name carved in the bar - if you can find room! If not, leave a hat from your favorite sports team. Also, they will do the carving for free but you should give them some money. It... More

There isn't a bad seat in the place because everywhere you look you see the ocean. It is surrounded 360 by water. It was a lot of things to look at. I'm glad that we went. We stayed just long enough to grab a drink and leave. We were there about 30 minutes, the boat ride there and back was... More

After reading the reviews, I formed high expectations and I could not wait to visit. I called and arranged the boat ride and ordered lunch (as was recommended). The boat ride was ok and as soon as we got off the boat we did a quick walk-through of the bar, took some photos, grabbed a beer and was already thinking... More

I'm feel so fortunate that I got to see this place! It's truly a one of a kind! The views were so amazing, and the people so friendly. This place is worth making the trip to Jamaica for, even if that's the only thing you do while in Jamaica.
