Loved it, not crowded and a 3 minute walk from where I was staying. The view from my balcony was spectacular.

Sometimes you just want to chill and be on a beach. This was one of those times, having been to Ocho Rios 10+ times off of a cruise ship. The beach is literally a two minute walk from the new pier. There is a cost to get in ($3). There are chairs and umbrellas available for rent. And there is cold beer available for purchase. If you can deal with the constant haggling of someone trying to sell you something else, then heading here for a few hours is a good alternative to heading to the falls or just sitting on the ship.

Poor location and dirty places. There are private beaches for the resorts and for foreign visitors, paying 3 dollars per person per day. We visited with our MSC cruise and I don’t understood why stopping there. The only beach accessible for cruisers is the beach of the port, just in front of the ships, without beautiful landscape besides looking to the cruise ships.

Beach overall is good with rentable beach chairs for 5$US and the beach is clean with groomed sand. Its kept up pretty well and has a 2$US entry fee. Lots of hustlers on the beach though asking for tips for buying you beer if you ask and also this is the beach that cruise ships stop in front of so there are a lot of tourists during peak hours of the day.

Visited Ocho Rios beach on 1st Feb with family who I came to see and visit for a week. This was our beach day as my relatives live near enough in the middle of Jamaica. The beach was busy but beautiful and clean. No trouble. Everyone relaxing. There are other activities to do like ride on a inflatable with a high speed boat pulling you. Really relaxed atmosphere at s Cost of $200 JMD £1.60. There are toilet and shower facilities on the beach as well as booths the get drinks food and ice cream Very nice beach.
